Update ke SP2 dan Security Update

mungkin ramai yg takut nak update sebab malas nk bertembung dgn masalah Security Center dan Auto Update...

topik ni dibuat sebab vista dah nak kuar. mungkin ada yg rasa ketinggalan.
so, ini peluang utk rasa XP korang di update ke tahap maksima:
1- AutoPatcher Oktober 2006
2- gunakan Vista Interface ( Versi Tempek/tampal).

Skrg aku nk kongsi cemana korang leh update smua tu tanpa risau.

lepas install update SP2 ni, ko rang akan dpt Security Center yg kontrol 3 benda:
1- Firewall
2- Antivirus
3-Automatic Update

dalam Control Panel:



isi dalam Security Center:



korang akan dapat tray icon:

dah tentu korang tak suka, kan? sebab banyak alert, notis dan ianya menggangu sebab selalu rompak perhatian korang. silap aribulan automatik update akan buatkan pc korang kena detect sbg tak ori. lagi naya.

so, solution dia:

DISABLE SECURITY CENTER

lepas install SP2, biasanya kena restart komputer.
pastuh kena set firewall, atuomatic updates & antivirus.

lepas tu, korang wat camni:

klik run, taip msconfig dan klik OK.

dari situ korang akan dapat System Configuration Utility camni:

korang masuk tab "Services" dan cari:
1- Automatic Updates
2- Security Center

dan disablekan (un-tick).

lepas tu klik Apply dan OK. dan restart PC.
lepas restart PC, Security Center dan Automatic Updates takkan ganggu korang lagi dah.

UPDATE DARI SP2 KE OCTOBER 2006 guna 3rd PArty INSTALLER

skrg, korang nak update ke latest Fix , Patch pulak, aku rekemen AutoPatcher XP (Latest October '06)

masa nak install Autopatcher ni, pilih latest Fix, Patch saja.

tak payah la install WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage/Notification Tool) sebab mende ni akan buatkan PC korang akan kena kesan sbg pirate atau tak ori. kalau korang GUNA WINXP ori punya, so, takde la masalah utk update ni.

proses update guna autopatcher ni mmg lama. lepas update, sila restart komputer.
